Why I Became A MN Bankruptcy Lawyer
I am passionate about using the law to the fullest extent to give clients the fresh start they deserve. When I started law school, I knew I wanted to be a bankruptcy lawyer right away. I started my career working for a local bank, and saw the impact that debt and collection activity had on consumers firsthand. The 2008 financial crisis was even hard on my family, and it became abundantly clear how financial troubles can impact us all in profound ways.
Though debt is part of life in America, it makes us vulnerable in tough times. An illness, a bad financial decision, a job loss, a business failure, or an economic downturn can mean financial life or death. I understand where my clients are coming from, because I know how overwhelming debt can feel on a day to day basis. Debt related stress impacts so many parts of our lives. I love that our clients can hand that burden off to us, and get back to living and enjoying life!
I live in Roseville, Minnesota with my dear husband, our two cats, and too many books. Ask me what I’m reading now!
